Red River Reloading offers a popular selection of new unprimed handgun brass. We take pride in offering the highest quality pistol brass cases available. Each manufacturer produces high quality brass cases. Beyond the brand name, your experience and others experiences may contribute to a preference but in general the more you spend on your reloading components and reloading tools, the higher the quality ammunition you will assemble.
Hornady unprimed brass offers reloaders very tight tolerances, consistent case weight, excellent concentricity and consistent powder capacity. Using Hornady brass will help ensure that you obtain consistent bullet seating and your ammunition will have a consistent and uniform bullet release when it's fired from your weapon. Tight tolerances in your reloading, in all of your components and your reloading process itself will help you obtain the optimal velocity and accuracy for your cartridge. Hornady brass gives precision pistol shooters and competitors a case with consistent wall thickness and tight tolerances. Hornady brass is the foundation for producing the most accurate cartridges.
Winchester's shell cases for handguns are engineered to precise tolerances to ensure smooth-feeding and positive chambering.
You have a lot choices when purchasing reloading brass for your handgun. You can purchase economy used range brass, manufactured or processed brass and new brass for your firearm. You can also purchase several boxes of quality ammunition to use for your reloading brass. Whatever choice you make, be sure to keep your goals in line with the product you're purchasing.
If your goal is to reload quality ammunition without a lot of processing or are new to reloading, you should start with new brass. You will spend a little bit less time processing, trimming and cleaning your brass and can get by with fewer tools.
Range brass or once fired brass may be a good value if you are doing a lot of plinking but if your chasing zeros and trying to get really tight groups or engaging in targets that are further away then new high quality brass will give you better chances of achieving a greater level of accuracy with your weapon.
We currently offer new unprimed brass for most popular pistol calibers. Reloading brass is usually sold in packages of 50, 100, 200 and sometimes other quantities. Please review the products description thoroughly to make sure that you are purchasing the correct brass for your pistol and that you will be receiving the quantity you expect. If you are ever unsure of the products description you should visit the manufactures website and search for the products mpn.
