It is against the Dept. of Transportation rules for us to accept returned ammunition for obvious reasons. Be very careful when purchasing ammunition from Red River Reloading. Verify that you are purchasing the correct ammunition for your rifle, pistol or shotgun. If you aren't sure which type of ammunition your firearm requires, you can check the stamping on the barrel. Usually, the caliber is printed on the barrel. Always check with a qualified gunsmith if you are uncertain of the caliber or aren't confident in the markings on the barrel.



Red River Reloading does not accept returns of firearms or FFL items for any reason. If there is a problem with the quality of the item you purchased or a manufacturer defect you will need to deal with the items manufacturer. For a complete list of terms please see: How to Order Firearms



Returned products should be in new unopened condition. Please save your packaging. If the product is not in new unopened condition, we cannot accept the return. You will need to deal with the products manufacturer at this point. 

You may return unaltered items purchased through Red River Reloading within 30 days of purchase for an exchange, refund, or store credit. An unaltered item means that no modification such as grinding, fitting, drilling, sanding, chemical cleaning, restoration, painting or other changes of any kind has occurred. Altered products or products in abused condition will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Manufacturer defects or defects caused by packaging should be returned to the manufacturer. We will not accept products that are damaged during the manufacturing process for return or repair. Beyond opening packages we make every effort possible to make sure there is no damage caused by manufacturer defect before we ship your item.

We will do our best to resolve any issue and answer any questions before a return is needed. Many of our customers find that having a few questions answered prior to the return of a product may resolve the issues they encounter. 

We try our best to select and ship the correct item(s) in each order. Unfortunately, selection errors are sometimes made and not caught prior to shipping. In the event the error is caused by Red River Reloading, we will refund your return shipping cost up to the original invoice shipping charge. If this is not the case the buyer may be responsible for all shipping costs associated with any return or exchange. We do not refund for additional services such as Delivery Confirmation, Insurance, etc.



Red River Reloading reserves the right to have up to 10 business days to inspect and process your return. However, we will do our best to minimize the amount of time a return will take. Refunds will occur by the same method used for purchase. In the event of a credit card purchase, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account.



All merchandise returns may be subject to a 5% - 25% restocking fee at Red River Reloading's discretion, except where prohibited by law.
