These Reloading Dies made by Hornady feature a zip spindle design that uses a series of light threads to positively lock and eliminate any slippage. The Hornady Full Length Sizing Die uses an elliptical expander in favor of the inferior ball expander. This elliptical expander provides a much smoother experience by greatly reducing friction and case neck stretch while eliminating the need for a separate expander die when trying to neck-up to the next caliber. A secure lock ring applies constant pressure throughout to ensure it stays in place, and the premium super hard coating works wonders when resizing soft pistol brass and will never scratch your cases.
