About the Manufacturer
Weaver started in his fathers's shop in a small town Lawrenceburg Indiana. He helped fulfill a contract his father had with the state of Indiana for 800,000 license plates. Weaver designed and constructed the tooling to complete this contract, then he began building riflescopes.

Weaver designed and made his own tooling for his scopes and also he did all of the manufacturing work for his scopes in his shop. He did everything in house from grounding the lenses, machining the steel, blueing parts and he even made the mounts at his shop onWater Works Road in Newport Kentucky. During his tenure he never wavered on insisting that everything in his products be 100 percent made in America.

80 years later, Weaver still represents excellent performance for a reasonable price. Of course, the owners and locations of manufacturing has changed through eight decades, but their standards have not. This powerful name in sport optics continues the path set so long ago by William R. Weaver. You can expect that the Weaver brand will continue bringing fair-priced and high-quality optics and mounts to shooters and hunters around the globe.
