The Explorer is a casual design that incorporates high performance features for those times when you want both protection and classic style out of your eyewear. With the same lens and frame construction and materials as our ballistic-rated models, the Explorer provides extreme impact resistance, durability, and flexibility in a more lightweight package you can wear everywhere.
Our Explorer Eyewear comes with a black DAKA Can storage case and a Magpul Lens Bag made with lens-safe cleaning material.

Though not rated to Z87.1 due to the wrap and shape of the Explorer, the lens and frames were engineered to the same ballistic impact protection standards as our other eyewear

Frames are constructed of TR90NZZ, combining lightweight construction with dependable ballistic protection

Oleophobic treatment of lenses provides liquid & other chemical protection + scratch resistance
Anti-reflective coating on inside of lenses minimizes distracting reflections
Coated stainless steel pins provide simple but dependable hinge functionality

Padded low profile temples integrate smoothly under helmets, communication headsets and over the ear hearing protection while providing comfort with rubber nose and temple pads
